My first paint project was a custom piece?! Yikes, I was brave! That was in 2012, I think I have learned a lot since then. When I do a custom piece, I like to visit the home it will be in and get a style vibe. The things that are important to me besides styles, are the budget and timeline. The notes I will be taking are about color, finish, distress, or not, transfers,  moulds and decoupage. The overall condition of the piece will make a huge impact on the finished project. I will be as realistic and honest as I can. I like to send progress pictures along the way to make sure we are on the right path.
